ECISD is collaborating with Paleo Quest to bring real world research projects to their students via SharkFinder® Citizen Science. Currently, kindergarten through sixth grade students have worked with matrix from the Pope Creek Sands in Virginia and the Atco Formation in Texas. Students are also sharing their findings with images from a digital microscope with a partnering paleontologist and researcher via Flipgrid videos (a social learning platform).
